It’s Our time. What does that mean?

For some time other communities have organized around an idea, a project, a vision to move it and it’s citizens forward. Why? They recognized that the world is changing: business, government and even the people; and that to thrive the community as a whole had to thrive.

In 2008 Topeka and Shawnee County citizens took part in a collective effort to share ideas and dreams for our community and the result was a vision that the “Greater Topeka region will be a growing, dynamic and trusting community with a superior quality of life.”

In the past four years Topeka and Shawnee County have seen improvements that move in the direction of our vision; and recognition from outside of the community that this is a place to pay attentions to. So, It’s Our time means that it is time for improvements, growth and prosperity for our citizens to be realized.

We are only limited by our self imposed limits and the dreams we are willing to dream. Topeka and Shawnee County have a lot to offer and even more to give. We look forward to see the continued support and excitement.
